Because of our reduced overhead, our hourly rate is lower than typically seen in the Austin-area. We do not charge for administrative functions, and our hourly rate for attorneys is $150/hour. We also have reduced flat rates for simple uncontested matters.
We evaluate whether to accept matters on contingency on a case-by-case basis.
We typically require a retainer before establishing the attorney-client relationship. We set a retainer with the client, and all client funds are placed in a trust account regulated by the State Bar of Texas. We bill monthly against the retainer, and the client replinishes their retainer balance on a monthly basis.
